Andrew Kanis gave us this thoughtful gift. It is a Spot Gen3 or as we affectionately call it “the tracker,” which allows us to send pre-programmed communications when we don’t have access to the internet. Every now and again we will turn it on to track our movements, particularly if we are going somewhere unknown or doing some serious hiking. It is a very cool device that puts our minds and the minds of those that care about us at ease…to an extent. When we turn it on it leaves a “breadcrumb” trail of our locations, just in case we need to be found. Anyone can view the “breadcrumb” trail here.
